MARCH 2010:  With Andy now in Kindergarden, we spent our first “Spring Break” working around the house.  Click on the link above or here to see what we did.

AUGUST 2009:  We went to NY for a family reunion.  I’m slowly processing and posting photos from that trip (so check the Change Log).  We hadn’t visited in 4 years, so what a treat to see everyone again!  We took our time; flew into Baltimore to pick up my sister and drove through PA (stopping numerous times, including Hershey’s Chocolate World!).

SEPTEMBER 2008: We evacuated for Hurricane Ike.  What a mess of destruction and debris it left behind.  Many houses in our area were heavily damaged, but the worst destruction was along the Texas coast.  We are about 40 miles from Galveston.  Click on the “Ike” link at the top of this page to see a few pictures of our house damage.

APRIL 2008: In April, we went to visit my parents in Iron Mountain, MI.  The occasion that brought us back after almost 6 years was a reunion of sorts.  In the spring of 2008, my mom was reunited with a child that she gave up for adoption before she met my dad.  So...I HAVE A SISTER now.  Actually, this makes THREE sisters and relegates me to a MIDDLE CHILD.  I’m sure I will develop some syndrome or complex soon - something for which some drug will cure me or make me forget!  haha

Actually, we couldn’t be more excited or thrilled.  Our time together was short, but the memories (and photos) will last forever.

I haven’t actually processed the photos.  I will send an email update when I do so you all can experience the fun (though photos) of our reunion.
